Current IAEH Memberships to cease August 2018.

All current Association membership fees that have been collected prior to the establishment of EcoHealth International Trust (23 December 2017) have been used by EcoHealth Alliance to fund the production and dissemination of the EcoHealth Journal.  These funds are not transferrable. All current memberships to the Association will cease upon winding up of the Association in its current form at the Biennial Conference Meeting in Cali, Colombia August 2018. None of these fees are transferrable to the new entity.

Membership to the EcoHealth International Trust

The EcoHealth International Trust is an organisation guided by its membership. Membership is open to organisations and Individuals over the age of 18 years.  Our success and ability to grow and develop over the coming years will be guided by the diversity and participation of our members, representative of all the regions across the world. EcoHealth International is committed to increasing the profile of the Trust and the work of our members. We will continue enrol members from North America, Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia, Europe, Oceania, and Africa, and grow our global community while ensuring strong representation from local and regional areas.

Since we started out as the International Association for Ecology and Health; there has been strong interest, encouragement and expectations about what we can achieve. While we are committed to growing our organisation, we also partner with international associates that are committed to solving problems associated with the Anthropocene.

You will be eligible for Awards and Scholarships, grants and funding through EcoHealth International, and will be able to volunteer to promote your regional chapter efforts to address the Anthropocene with groups of like-minded people. As a member, there are opportunities to hear from and engage with EcoHealth leaders and visionaries from around the world; and receive members’ only discounts at recognised events, on publications and on merchandise.

Feedback from our members tells us that people want to have their voices heard, to help shape the policies of EcoHealth International.  You will be asked to participate in surveys where our members contribute ideas, input and to understand positions on specific issues and then use this information to help develop policies and positions. Members also receive information and updates from us.

A Voice of the Members

EcoHealth International is based on principles of democracy and we will continue to work on giving members the chance to participate directly by voting. EcoHealth International is truly a voice for the members. We operate on funds generated from our membership fees, and donations.
